Ali Solomon is a cartoonist and writer from Queens, NY, where she lives with her husband, two daughters, and an insane amount of comic books.

Ali got her start drawing a daily comic strip for The Cornell Daily Sun as an undergrad. She has regularly contributed to the New Yorker since 2018, and her work has also appeared in McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Believer, Wired, and Journal of Alta, among other places. When not drawing, Ali teaches art at a middle school in NYC.
