I'm the mom of two wonderful boys, Tyler (16) and Caleb (10), and the lucky wife to my husband, Devin (19 years). I'm honest, funny and a tad OCD.

I started blogging about three years ago with my cake business, and decided to put an end to the business side of things so I could spend more time with my family. While I still do cakes for friends and family, I feel less overwhelmed and more at peace because I get to spend that extra time I now have with the people who matter most to me. But my love for blogging has never wavered, and so I returned to it. People ask me all the time for advice about camping, what to bring, what kind of foods do we eat, etc, etc. I enjoy helping friends with camping-related questions, and thought I'd share my experiences beyond that circle.
