Deonna Kelli Sayed is a writer and storyteller. She is the author of Paranormal Obsession: Americas Fascination With Ghosts & Hauntings, Spooks & Spirits. Her work is included in the New York Times featured, Love, Inshallah: The Secret Love Lives of American Muslim Women as well as Faithfully Feminist: Christian, Jewish, and Muslim Feminist on Why We Stay. Deonna writes for Yes!Weekly, an independent newspaper in Greensboro, N.C. She produces the podcast for OUT IN THE SOUTH, a series highlighting LGBTQ stories from the American south. Deonna is currently working on a memoir about ghosts, love, and faith.
