I am the mother of two children with Asperger's syndrome. The oldest infact was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at the age of five. He has now been awarded a Masters Degree in Computer Science and his brother has entered a Masters Program in Media and Communication. It has been a long road and not so easy all the time. Meanwhile, I noticed an important issue along the way. As I was busy saving my children I forgot to save myself. So this blog is dedicated to the parents of all special needs children. We need to remind ourselves that we too are entitled to as much of a future as our children. Heck we are even entitled to a right now as well.
