Erica Collins is an author, professional speaker, educator, media host/personality, plus model, actress, fmr. Miss Plus America and current International Brand Ambassador, Entrepreneurette and City Leader Washington, D.C. and New York for "Sexy and Wealthy in Heels"

She is a dynamic personality who has worked for several media companies including Business Week Online, MSNBC, Fox News Channel, HBO and Time Warner/HBO Sports, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Broadcast studio’s “It’s Your Business” and the “Quality Learning Series”. Erica was awarded the honor to train and work at the U.S. Capitol House and Senate Radio/TV Press Galleries serving as a press liaison between U.S. Congress and National/International media. While in Washington, D.C., she interned at WTTG Fox 5 News, WRC News 4 NBC and NBC's syndicated "George Michael Sports Machine". She has covered local, national and international news, entertainment, business and sports.

In May 2015, Erica Collins spoke at the African Arts and Fashion Week in Washington, D.C. while serving as V.I.P. at the Embassy of Nigeria AAFWDC Fashion Show. Erica has been a plus model for over 20 years; beginning her modeling career in Washington, D.C. and eventually breaking into the New York City market for Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Liz Claiborne (Elisabeth), Boscov’s, Just My Size Intimate Secrets Apparel, Fashion Bug, Cargo Magazine, appearing on the "Ananda Lewis Show" and served on the Board of Advisors and Spokesperson for Fashion to Figure which was founded by the great-grandsons of Lena H. In June 2015, Empowering children to reach their goals and dreams, Erica kicked off her children's book signing at the Rainbow Push Coalition and Citizen Education Fund Annual International Convention in Chicago, IL. She is the author of a new children's book entitled "Eric and Ruby's Healthy Juice Stand". It encourages teamwork, entrepreneurship, and healthier choices written in English, Spanish and French. The book was inspired by her journey in the specialty food industry being part of the winning team of a sofi award by the Specialty Food Association in New York City. Also, it inspired her new non-profit Queendom and Kingdom Transformation Foundation Inc. focusing on the mind, body image and spirit of children, women and men. Erica serves on the Board of Advisors for Canada Enterprises and was their Media and Public Relations consultant with the success of launching a national media campaign for Canada Enterprises and Jin+Ja, serving as speaker for Rutger’s University Food Innovation Center. In 2014, Erica spoke about women’s issues at the Business and Professional Women’s organization in Nashville, TN. Politically, Erica was selected as an Obama Organizing Fellow  chosen for the historic 2008 Presidential Campaign and has worked on various political campaigns.

A graduate from George Washington University, Erica was instrumental in establishing a graduate level course entitled “Jackie Robinson: Race, Sports and the American Dream”. The course has grown into a symposium awarding members of the Washington, D.C. community and beyond, representing the legacy of Jackie Robinson.

Erica holds a Masters of Science Education Teaching English Language Learners.
