My name is Erica DeSpain and I'm the creator and blogger behind WhimsicalSeptember.com, a daily living lifestyle blog where readers can find inspiration for everything from marriage to fitness to parenting and more. My goal for my blog is that it becomes a place where readers feel inspired to make happy decisions for their family, from deciding to make chocolate chip pancakes a Sunday tradition or booking a flight last-minute to see a girlfriend across the country.

I'm a former middle school and high school English teacher as well as a national school public speaker with Rachel's Challenge. I am obsessed with my beautiful one year old daughter Hadley and my husband of four years, Jamie. We're an Active duty Army family, so that keeps us on our toes!
