John Markley is an 18-year-old member of SheKnow's GenZ council and is a high school senior at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut. John is originally from Telluride, Colorado, and spends his summer months camping and fishing in the Rocky Mountains while working as a server at a local pizza spot. He hopes to study political science, creative writing, or economics in college. This is his first piece for SheKnows.
