Lauren Kelp

I am an Interior Stylist based in Phoenix, Arizona! My passion is interiors, design, DIY for the home, and all things decor. 

I was born and raised in a home of artists, my mother, a sculptor and a painter, and my father, an ornamental metals designer, in a little town outside of Chicago. Our family was kind of like the Pippy Longstocking's of the neighborhood - covered in paint, always making or fixing something, and the phrase "we can make that," was our motto.

Thankfully, it turns out all those years of trying to make everything in sight teaches you a thing or two about design.

After getting a degree in Public Relations & Marketing from Baylor University, I packed up my car and headed straight for Austin. Bright-eyed and bushy tailed, I started my career as Director of Public Relations for a fair-trade jewelry company, helped start a social media agency, and thankfully landed a job as a Design Assistant with Amity Worrel & Co. 

Designing has always been in my blood. Working to make a space just right, combining comfort with style, and never, above all else, sacrificing that personal touch is what I love to do more than anything.
