Matthew Alpert Od

Dr. Matthew Alpert graduated with clinical honors from the New England College of Optometry, in Boston, Massachusetts. His practice, Alpert Vision Care, is a three-generation family optometric practice that has been servicing the Los Angeles area for over 75 years. Dr. Alpert earned the prestigious Young Optometrist of the Year Award in 2005, for providing superior care to his patients, community and the profession of optometry. He is the past president of the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society and has been a board member for over 10 years. The American Optometric Association chose Dr. Alpert to be the liaison for the Eye on Nutrition ad campaign, where he was featured on nation television, discussing the role of nutrition and ocular health.
