I have defied all the odds life stacked against me and lived to tell her tale. I am the child of a southern belle food addict and an American Indian alcoholic, and often felt addiction was the only possible way to live. Much of my early life was spent watching family drama playing out through the rear window of a car on a dusty Texas road. Apparently, I mistook this vista as a movie screen and thought it was a sign to pursue filmmaking; my fixation took me to New York City, where I got my master’s degree in filmmaking from New York University. Today, I describe my life as a miracle, because I have healed my own food addiction, including losing over 90 lbs and maintaining that weight loss since the year 2000. I works as a Master Certified Coach and Soul Awareness Healer with human beings healing and recreating their lives.
