Paton Ashbrook

Paton Ashbrook grew up in a family full of actors in Los Angeles, CA. After attending Los Angeles County High School for the Arts in the theatre department, she moved to New York City for more acting training. She ended up shooting 25 short films in a year, and began bouncing back and forth between the two coasts for a few years before deciding to apply to the Juilliard School of Drama. After being accepted she sank her teeth into roles that have shaped her as an artist, such as Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra, Betty in Landscape of the Body, and countless others. She even produced and starred in a new play, The Winstons, originating a part written for her by Andrea Ciannavei ("The Mayans", "The Path"), and began booking TV and film work. After graduating Paton's career has catapulted her onto the screen. She's been a recurring guest on critically acclaimed shows such as “House of Cards” (Netflix), “Shameless” (Showtime) and has had the pleasure of working as a guest star on “EVIL,” “Bull,” “Blue Bloods,” “Madam Secretary,” “The Good Fight” (CBS/CBS All Access), “Baker and the Beauty” (ABC), “Instinct” and “Reverie”(NBC). Most recently on film, she stars in the sci-fi psychological thriller hit, Minor Premise (Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes), distributed by Utopia on Amazon and AppleTV. And finally, this March you can see her in her third season as ADA Jenny Sullivan on the hit Starz series, “Power Book II: Ghost” (spinoff of “Power”).

In addition to acting, Paton is a writer, podcast host, teaching artist, and yoga and meditation instructor.
