Having thin hair doesn’t mean your look has to seem scraggly. With these elegant styles, your hair can look downright gorgeous.
Pull it back
We all wish we could rock full, cascading waves all day long. But for thin-haired ladies, that simply isn’t possible. And that’s OK! There are plenty of stylish looks you can rock instead. Rather than having your thin hair fall flat and lifeless by the end of the day, pull it back into a low ponytail or bun. Use bobby pins to secure a neat bun at the base of your neck, or rely on an attractive elastic for a ponytail. And if you want to add a little pizzazz, track down some hair bands or other hair accessories you love.

French twist
As someone with thin hair, you may often be bummed out by the styles you can’t make work. But there is one style you can do infinitely better than any of your thicker-haired friends, and that’s the French twist. Why, you may ask? Well, it’s quite simple, really. Although thick hair can be pulled into a French twist by a hairdresser for an event, it’s incredibly challenging to do on your own. It’s next to impossible to perfectly shape all that hair and then pin it in place attractively when you can’t even see what you’re doing. But with thin hair, you have less strands to worry about, and that makes creating the look much easier. Simply pull your hair back into a low ponytail, and twist the hair. Pull the twist up toward the top of your head, and roll it under itself. Secure with bobby pins, and you’re good to go!

Pin it up
Side-swept bangs and layered looks have been in for a while now. Unfortunately though, they aren’t a thin-haired girl’s best friends. If you don’t have a lot of hair, a few strands lying across your forehead doesn’t do wonders for your look, particularly at the end of the day, when hair may be getting flat or greasy. A better option is to take the hair that frames your face and pin it back. You can twist the front pieces together and secure them with a pin at the side, or tease them a little and secure the hair in the back to create a voluminous look on top of your head.

Chop it off
The majority of famous ladies in Hollywood show off long, full heads of hair, so it’s only natural that you want a similar style for yourself. But the fact is, the majority of celebrities use hair extensions to create that look. And without extensions, thin hair will just look more thin and scraggly the longer it gets. So a brave and stylish move for many thin-haired gals is to opt for a shorter do. It may seem intimidating at first, but you will likely quickly come to discover that it’s a look you love.
