Pretty Little Things: Tote your stuff in the best bags of the season

If you’re a bag buff like us, then you know the only thing that rivals fall shoe shopping is going on a hunt for a hot new handbag. That’s why this week on Pretty Little Things (where we bring you the prettiest finds online), we’re sourcing stylish bags we can’t wait to show off.

Hot hobo

As soon as fall hits, we start gravitating toward fall colors. There’s something about those rich reds, yellows and oranges that gets us geared up for a new season. Our newest fall color crush: this rich yellow leather hobo with double buckle straps ($298). The bright hue makes it a perfect contrast to some of fall’s deeper, darker shades.

Mod mini tote

Aside from our love of traditional fall hues, we’re going gaga for black and white this season, which is why this bag caught our attention ($199). The compact suede Jeffrey Campbell mini tote features a woven black and white panel on the front in an eye-catching geometric pattern we love.

Cool clutch

Anything with a reptilian twist is a must this fall, and we’ll be embracing our slithery side with this slim, stylish fold-over clutch in on trend snake embossed leather ($180). We’re especially in love with the pretty pale green hue and vintage-inspired elegance of the design. We’ll be toting ours while wearing a slate gray shift and black ankle booties for a streamlined toast to fall.

Go-anywhere bag

Everyone needs a bag that can go anywhere — from the grocery store to the movies to brunch with the ladies, and this stylishly structured leather purse with a design that takes its cue from decades past is our new go-to ($168). We’re partial to the pecan, a soft, caramel brown, but you can also choose from yellow, gray and blue.

Multipurpose purse

We fell instantly in love with the Brynn Capella Lauren bag ($298), a cute leather crossbody that can be worn over five different ways. There are several sumptuous hues to choose from, but we’re partial to the Calypso Orchid, a great way to add a fun pop of color to your fall wardrobe. The curved shape makes for comfy carrying and multiple pockets mean we stay organized on the go.

Travel tote

Fall usually means more to-dos, more responsibilities and the need to carry around more stuff, which is where this roomy leather travel tote comes in mighty handy ($125). Whether you need to get three kids to three different after-school activities, or you need a bag big enough to house your lunch, cardigan, makeup case and anything else you need for a full day, this is the tote for you.
