Fashion face-off: Louise Roe vs. Olivia Munn

Need some inspiration for summer footwear? Louise Roe and Olivia Munn have an idea.

It seems like the entire country is in the midst of a serious heat wave right now. We’re living in our flip-flops these days, but they’re not ideal footwear if you’re out walking around (hello, nasty street germs!). Luckily, we just found some serious inspiration in the gorgeous ShoeDazzle Bobbi wedges ($40) we’ve seen Fashion Star mentor Louise Roe and actress Olivia Munn wearing in the past couple of weeks.

Munn wore hers in New York earlier this week while promoting the new season of Newsroom on Live! with Kelly and Michael. Rowe wore hers to the Vanity Fair and CH Carolina Herrera event in Los Angeles in June.

The Bobbi wedges are great because they can be dressed up with a flirty dress (see Roe) or down with a casual — and cool! — summer combo (see Munn in her Sam & Lavi top and shorts).

Need more proof that these shoes are a summer must-have? Roe is admittedly obsessed with shoes and cops to having over 100 pairs of footwear, ranging from Louboutin heels to budget-friendly favorites.

“Shoes are my main obsession in the fashion arena. The only thing that I spend lots of money on is shoes. With bags, jewelry and dresses I’ll go really cheap, but I’ll save up for shoes when I want to treat myself,” she told Women’s Wear Daily in 2010.

“I don’t really know other girls who do this, but I will decide what shoe I want to wear and then build my outfit around them,” she said.

Her tip for buying shoes?

“I always try them on and walk around in them,” she told WWD. “I also think of three outfits that I already have that the shoe will go with. I try to think of a dress and more of a daytime jean sort of outfit, and then something more formal for work.”
