Olivia Wilde reveals her beauty secret in the new issue of InStyle.
Olivia Wilde is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, thanks to her striking features — and her even more striking self-confidence.
“I’m pretty comfortable in my own skin,” she told InStyle for her new cover interview with the magazine. “People always told me I had nice eyes, so I accentuated that.”
Wilde‘s confidence shows in her beauty routine: The Incredible Burt Wonderstone actress told the New York Times‘s T magazine that she keeps her makeup simple in her downtime “to give my skin a rest.” The fair-skinned stunner also keeps her face flawless with a dedicated cleansing routine.
“I usually wash [it] twice. First, to remove all the makeup, and then again to really give my face a good scrub,” she told the magazine in 2012. “I like to get it clean at the end of a workday using a good hot towel.”
Wilde also stays away from the tweezers, only stepping in to “fill [the eyebrows] in wherever nature has abandoned me,” Wilde told T. “I just fill in under the arch and soften them up a bit.”
She’s basically the polar opposite — beauty-wise — of fellow actress Sofia Vergara.
After all, she has better things to think about — like her wedding to former Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis. Wilde didn’t reveal all of the details behind her upcoming nuptials, other than that she’ll wear a Monique Lhuillier gown. As for her bridesmaids? The 30-year-old tells InStyle that she won’t participate in “that tortured tradition of forcing them to wear a ridiculous dress they’ll never wear again.”
Instead, “they have a real creation tailored to each of them,” she said, adding that each dress has to be something that can be worn year after year.
“They can dye it black or purple and wear it forever,” she said.
