Looking for a new all-in-one hair product? Find out how WEN’s Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner measures up.
A hair innovation
Name this product:
WEN by Chaz Dean Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner (qvc.com, $50)
What the product claims to do:
There has been much hype around this revolutionary hair care line. This cleansing conditioner replaces shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, leave-in conditioner and even shaving cream. It’s supposed to add moisture without weighing hair down and cleanse without stripping hair of natural nutrients and oils.
How it worked for me:
I did not notice a difference in my hair until about three weeks into using the product. At that point, my hair was thicker, fuller, strong and healthy!
How this product looks and feels:
This product is thick and creamy, much like a body lotion. However, it does make your hair feel a bit heavy.
What I liked about this product:
It’s very different than many other hair products I’ve tried. It definitely gave my hair volume and made it feel soft and healthy.
I would recommend this product for:
Women with any hair type.
How I felt about the scent of this product:
The scent is very nice and clean.
Additional comments:
Give it a try! It is hard to get used to it at first since it doesn’t have a lather and we’re so used to having suds in our shampoo. But try it for about three weeks, and see if you like it. As with any product, it just takes some time for your hair to adjust.
