Katie Holmes: the next big beauty and fashion mogul?
You better believe it. The mom of adorable Suri Cruise is teaming up with makeup pro Bobbi Brown on a new makeup collection, but she’s not about to stop there. Next up on her list? A new scent, of course.
“I’m interested [in doing a fragrance],” Holmes told Women’s Wear Daily in a new profile. “We all need a little help in smelling good, especially in the summer in New York City!”
We’ll have to wait a while for that to happen, but we can get our hands on the new Bobbi & Katie Collection. The makeup — comprised of a brush set, eight eye shadows, two rouges and a mini eye pencil — will be available in September.
“Our objective was to do something that is very helpful to all women,” she said. “You can put it on in the back of a cab, you can put it on in your bathroom at home, you can put it on in the parking lot at your child’s soccer game. It’s simple, but we like to have special things that make us feel good.”
Next up for the pair? A skin care line — and Tom Cruise’s ex is also planning another Holmes & Yang collection with her pal, Jeanne Yang.
“We’ll probably do something smaller, like in the hotel as we did in February,” she said. “We found that to be very effective. We’ve had great sell-throughs at Barneys. We’re having a good time.”
This is all great, but we really can’t wait until Suri starts designing. You know that stuff is going to look amazing.
