Met Gala’s best dressed

Last night, the Met Gala turned out to be anything but boring. Every celebrity went all out for this momentous event. Feathers, sequins and ruffles paraded all over the red carpet. It seemed as if all of Hollywood came out to show their very best.

With so many looks to choose from, here are the five best dressed stars at the Met Gala.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson was by far the best dressed of the night in her Dolce & Gabbana pearl embroidered gown. The blush color and off the shoulder detailing made Scarlett look like a goddess. Everything down to the hair and makeup was flawless. The silhouette of this gown was a perfect fit for Scarlett’s curvy body. Bravo!

Cameron Diaz

In a skintight Stella McCartney dress, Cameron Diaz looked like the huge movie star she is. Diaz is always one to watch and this is an unexpected choice for her. However, this silk number is extremely sexy and eye-catching. The allure of the dress is all in the details with the long train and draped back. Diaz rocked this look from head to toe.

Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester looked like an angel in her Marchesa tulle gown. With exquisite embroidered detail and sultry makeup, Leighton was a standout. The tulle adds an ethereal touch without being overwhelming.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow stunned in her pale lilac Prada mini. Paltrow chose a short dress which was in sharp contrast to all the long gowns seen. She definitely stood out looking unexpected and chic with a sleek ponytail and classic hoops.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt‘s floor-length Calvin Klein was absolutely stunning. In a rich salmon, this gown hugs all the right curves and flatters Emily beautifully. Instead of overdoing it, Emily went for a simple, natural hairstyle with bold, silver accessories.
