Makeup that supports breast cancer awareness

Thinking pink this October? These beauty buys are a great way to start!

1

Roses of good

For the month of October, e.l.f. cosmetics will be donating 100 percent of the sale of their Studio HD Blush in Headliner, a gorgeous, universally-flattering pink cream blush to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Enriched with vitamin E, this nourishing e.l.f. blush conditions and hydrates skin for a healthy, radiant flush. Lightweight, yet highly pigmented, the velvety formula sculpts and highlights for a soft-focus effect that is ideal for everyday use. (eyeslipsface.com, $3)

2

Blossoming wishes

This October Julep nail polish will release a new nail color called Edith created in honor of the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation. The nail color will be a cherry blossom pink crème with holographic glitter.  (julep.com, $14)

3

Smell of hope

Antica Farmacista is donating 100 percent of the profits from the sale of Peonia Gardenia & Rosa products to Gilda’s Club, an organization that supports cancer survivors and their families. The collection includes Antica Farmacista diffusers, decanters, as well as body and hand wash. (anticafarmacista.com, $25+)

4

Soft lips

The eos Breast Cancer Awareness Smooth Sphere Lip Balm Pack will donate 100 percent of net profits to support breast cancer research. The eos Strawberry Sorbet and Limited Edition Fresh Watermelon Smooth Sphere Lip Balms are together in one package, making it a potentially great idea to share with a friend! (I live for affordable generosity.) The organic formula is made with shea butter and jojoba oil, great for kissable lips. (ulta.com, $6)

5

Glitter for good

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ORLY nail polish is re-introducing the Pretty in Pink Collection and 20 percent of the profits will go toward Cancer Schmancer. Founded by actress and cancer survivor Fran Drescher, Cancer Schmancer is an organization that focuses on education, prevention and early detection of cancer. The Pretty in Pink Collection includes one all new glitter shade, Pink Your World. Personally, we consider glitter to always be a good idea anyway! (beauty.com, $9)
