Friday’s Fashion Obsessions: Miranda Kerr and Kiernan Shipka

Miranda Kerr and Kiernan Shipka’s beautiful celebrity styles made us do a double take this week! We’re telling you why in this week’s installment of Friday’s Fashion Obsessions.

Miranda Kerr

Well hello Miranda Kerr, we meet again. The model and Mrs. Orlando Bloom looked lovely in white this week at a Romeo and Juliet showing in NYC and has caught my eye yet again.

I know, I know, white is supposedly a no-no after Labor Day. But in reality, it’s a white hot trend for winter and a fashion do any time of year, if you ask me. Miranda makes her white appropriate for fall with a long-sleeve dress with strategic sheer cutouts, on trend sparkly, pointy pumps and a silver clutch. Her red lip and sideswept waves also soften the look and make it seem less summery.

The final verdict? Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? I’d like to applaud Miranda for breaking that age old fashion rule in serious style.

Kiernan Shipka

I don’t know about you but I didn’t look this good when I was 13 years old. And yet, Kiernan Shipka always seems to bring her fashion A game. The Mad Men star showed up to an event this week in this cute two-tone dress I adore.

When done right, colorblocking can look oh so cute. Here, Kiernan looks on trend for fall with this burgundy top and cream pleated bottom dress. The voluminous bottom keeps her looking young, but she still maintains an air of sophistication with black T-strap pumps and a classic color combo.

The final verdict? In an industry where so many teenage celebs are running wild and twerking like it’s no one’s business, it’s really refreshing to see a young style star coming into her own and doing so in a respectful way!
