Friday’s Fashion Obsessions: Jamie Chung and Kate Middleton

Jamie Chung has been knocking my socks off lately with her fashion-forward street style. I recently caught the young trendsetter rocking her fave Call it Spring booties three different ways. Here’s my fave way she styled the bold shoes!

While out and about in NYC, Jamie paired her practical combat boots with a colorful moto jacket, an LBD and black tights. I’m loving the fun fashion juxtaposition going on here! Jamie’s bold blue jacket is especially on trend this season, and provides a beautiful pop of color when worn against an all-black canvas. The combat boots offer some stylish edge — not to mention ease of movement — and look cool when worn with a flirty dress.

The final verdict? I know I’ll be pinning this look! It’s the perfect ensemble for fashionable yet practical ladies who don’t want to sacrifice comfort for cuteness.

Elegant as always, Kate! The Duchess of Cambridge showed us how winter white is really done at a red carpet premiere in London. The new mom looked gorgeous in the simple silhouette and we’re pretty sure her hubby — you know, the future King of England! — dug the gorgeous gown too.

To start off, can we marvel over the slinky slit Kate is rocking? This is a departure from her normally reserved style, and we like it! Another cool aspect to this dress? Its off-center back zipper. Neat, no? Kate finished off her look with an edgy collar necklace, black pumps and a sleek black clutch.

The final verdict? Forget the dress’ awesomeness, can we discuss Kate’s incredible ponytail? She’s famous for her usual blowout and elegant updos, so to see Kate wearing a new ‘do is really exciting.
