Mindy Kaling and Katharine McPhee‘s beautiful celebrity styles made us do a double take this week. We’re telling you why in this week’s installment of Friday’s Fashion Obsessions.

This week, Mindy Kaling showed off her adorable sense of style at an event in New York City in a vibrant pink dress that’s got us itching for a trip to the mall.
When in doubt, always wear pink. At least, that’s our motto, and it seems to be working in Mindy’s favor here. Her short sleeve dress featured a tulip skirt with beautiful draping and a simply perfect hue of pink, and Mindy kept her accessories minimal so her statement dress could really pop. She did incorporate one pièce de résistance, though: those flirty pumps. Seriously, could they be any more adorable? Mindy looks polished, pretty and professional.
The final verdict? Mindy finished off her look with soft waves and glowing skin for an overall stunning look.

Katharine McPhee
Katharine McPhee basically made our style dreams come true when she showed up to an event in Washington D.C. rocking this mint green jumpsuit by Rebecca Minkoff.
Mint green and jumpsuits? Those are two of our favorite things. Katharine’s sleeveless version featured a beautifully draped subtle V-neck, a tailored fit and a super flattering mid-section (something that’s not easy to find in jumpsuits). She accessorized with black ankle strap sandals, a cream clutch and a subtle bracelet. To complement the warm weather vibe of her jumpsuit, Katharine wore her locks in beachy waves, selected a pop of color lip and accentuated her cheekbones with a rosy glow.
The final verdict? Could Katharine look any more perfect? We think not. The fit, the color and the feel of this jumpsuit are just simply spot-on.
