Looks like Girls just want to have fun. Lena Dunham joined the growing ranks of celebs who debuted daring new ‘dos this summer when she shared her new platinum blond ‘do on Instagram this weekend.
The Girls star ditched her signature brown bob for a new very blond ‘do. But one hair change wasn’t quite enough for the actress, Lena took things one step further and cut her hair into a bowl cut, too. Naturally, she took her new look to Instagram to show it off, captioning the post “change is good.”
Change can indeed be good, but we were pretty shocked (and a bit excited) to see Lena’s bold hair move nonetheless. Of course, Lena is no stranger to daring sartorial moves, and is known as much for her unique style as she is for her badass personality, so we’re not that surprised.
Lena is just one of many celeb ladies rocking a bold new ‘do this summer. E! News personality Giuliana Rancic also made the switch from brown to platinum last month and Anna Paquin went dark with her new purple ‘do, to name a few, so she’s in good company.
Whether you love Lena’s new ‘do or not, you’ve got to admit the gal has the confidence to rock just about any look!
