Think you can’t wear latex? Oh yes you can

Kim Kardashian, the queen of figure-hugging fashion, stepped out in yet another jaw-dropping latex ensemble this week. The good news is that you don’t need a booty like Kim’s to pull off this look.

Once upon a time it was only to be found gracing the bodies of superheroes and Ann Summers mannequins but, over the last 12 months, latex, PVC and other high-shine fabrics have been accepted into the high-fashion arena.

Kim Kardashian is the celebrity who appears to have embraced this trend with the most enthusiasm, wearing latex to parties, awards ceremonies… and on casual afternoon strolls with Kanye.

The reality TV star chose a form-fitting pink latex top and skirt by Atsuko Kudo to promote her new perfume “Fleur Fatale” at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne last week, once again displaying her biggest asset in all its glory.

However, Kim’s not the only celebrity latex lover. Alexa Chung, Rihanna, Pixie Geldof, Amanda De Cadenet Taylor, and The Saturdays‘ Vanessa White have all experimented with this style, proving that it looks equally hot on women of all shapes and sizes.

If you fancy trying this trend yourself, check out online shopping favourites ASOS and Missguided for a great range of skirts, dresses and other latex goodies in an array of colours.
