Create glam party makeup using 4 products in 5 minutes

I love the holidays because of the expectation that makeup should be a little fancier, sparklier and smokier. What I don’t love is that it seems like everyone’s holiday parties are on the same night, right after work and by the time you BYOB and find your ugly Christmas sweater, there’s little time left for glam. That’s why I’ve devised what I’m calling the 4-stick face for your fastest holiday makeup ever. You can amp up your look with just four stick products that can be easily tossed in your bag.

You will need:

• 2 jumbo shadow pencils, one in black, the other in a fun glitter color. I used these from Sephora.
• Highlight and contour stick like the NYX Wonder Stick
• A bright lip liner like NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Hot Pink
• Mascara and lipgloss as extras

Directions:

First, sketch a thick line of black pencil along your top lash line.

Then, with your glittery/colored pencil, swipe across your lid above your black line, just under the crease.

With your finger, blend the 2 colors upwards.

With the colored pencil, line the lower lash line and smudge out with your finger.

With your black pencil, line the waterline.

Now, apply mascara on top and bottom lashes.

Moving onto the face, use the contour end of your NYX Wonder Stick to sweep under cheekbones, the temples, under the jawline, around the forehead and on the sides of the nose if you wish.

Use your fingers to blend. Remember to blend your cheekbone contour upwards, not down!

Flip the stick over and use the highlight end on the tops of the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose, on the cupid’s bow of the lip, center of the chin and on the brow bone. Blend with fingers.

Using your lip liner, draw a hashtag on the high part of your cheek and blend with fingers.

With that same lip liner, outline and fill in lips, blending with fingers for a stained effect.

Swipe on a shimmery, holographic lipgloss and you’re done!
