Over the next few sun-splashed months, I’ll be doing a series of Beach Week segments. In this week’s oceanside extravaganza, I’ll give you one of my favorite blushes.
BECCA Beach Tint
So, you’re heading out to the beach… or lakeside or poolside… or maybe you’re just having a cookout in your backyard. You’ve got on the sunscreen, but the last thing you want is a ton of makeup in the heat. Now, if you’re on the pale side, or your lips and cheeks are the same color, you should check out BECCA Beach Tint.
I’m not the biggest fan of cream blushes (though there are a couple exceptions). They normally break me out or they make me look like I did the day I raided my mom’s makeup cabinet as a little kid. It wasn’t pretty. I hope Mom doesn’t have photographic evidence. Anyway, the reason I’m loving Becca’s little tube of flush-i-ness is that it’s oil-free and waterproof. Even if you’re not wearing any other makeup, it gives you a sun-kissed blush that won’t come off in the pool. It works on lips and eyes as well.

It’s preservative and paraben-free, it doesn’t streak and you can even use it over powders and foundations. (Please note: If you’re going to use it that way, you’re going to get a slightly darker color.) It comes in six colors and each color smells like it’s name. I’m wearing Strawberry, but it’s also available in Watermelon, Peach, Raspberry, Grapefruit and Fig.
My favorite pro tip? Buff a little into the decollete for that rosy glow you get right before you tan. And since you’ll have on sunscreen (You WILL have on sunscreen!) it’s the perfect fake. |
BECCA Beach Tint retails for $25 and is available at b-glowing.com.
