Despite what season it is, know what’s always in style? Sparkly nails! The best part about jazzing up your nails is that it adds a little something extra to any kind of outfit whether it is casual or glam. Check out these four big ways to add some serious sparkle to your nails.
Holographic glitter
Add sparkle in a major way with holographic glitter nail polish. This adds a 3D look while giving your nails the ultimate shine and sparkle. Silver is one of the best choices for this type of nail polish as it’s easier to notice the holographic effect. Nails inc. London has the perfect holographic special effects nail polish in Electric Lane (seen here). Another perfect choice to nail this look is China Glaze’s Hologram polish that has more of a silvery tint with just enough sparkle. If you’re looking for some color with your holographic look, then Nubars Prism Collection Absolute has a fun bluish-teal tint to it giving it an “under the sea” feel.
Glitter-infused
Sporting glittery nails is one of the best ways to add 24-7 glam to your style. There are tons of different kinds of glitter nail polishes out there, but here are a few of our favorites. Deborah Lippman has an assortment of top-rated glitter polishes. Candy Shop (seen here) is an innocent, sweet glitter with a bubble-gum pink color and light glitter to match. Shake Your Groove Thing and Bad Romance are among are top faves, as well. OPI’s Muppet Collection has some extraordinary glitter nail polishes that will make your nails shine for miles.
Magnetic
This metallic look is not just metallic, it has a super special secret and we’re going to tell you what it is: magnets. From nails inc. London comes magnetic nail polish. This special formula has magnetic ingredients in it to create a special effect 3D design. All you have to do is pick your color and place the magnet, located in the top of the nail polish, over your nails and watch the 3D magic happen. Choose from silver, purple or green, all named after iconic London attractions: Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament and Whitehail Teal.
Iridescent
Not to be confused with holographic effects, iridescent colors are lustrous colors that look like they all have a little bit of the rainbow in the bottle. For example, one of our favorite iridescent nail polishes is Essie’s Kisses & Bises with its pearl and pink shimmer, among many other glints of color in there. If you’re looking for a darker nail color, then butter LONDON’s Knackered (seen here) is a perfect twinkling shade.
