Hey guys! Whitney English here, SheKnows celebrity correspondent, coming to you from the 2012 Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.
The SheKnows team is here in New York City all week covering the best shows and parties and reporting back to you on everything hot in the fashion world.
We’ve transformed our 1,600 square foot apartment digs into a working headquarters with five fashionable teamworkers pulling the reins. Though the weather outside has been a bit frightful (it snowed last night!), fashion reigns and has our full attention. We are having a blast here in the Big Apple and are anxious to uncover the hottest designer lines, trends and tricks that Fashion Week has to offer.
We’re already off to a running start, having spent all morning Friday hanging out with former Bachelorette Ashley Hebert at the Alice + Olivia store in Bryant Park, checking out the Rebecca Taylor runway, hitting up the Rock & Republic For Kohl’s red carpet and partying with the gorgeous Toni Braxton at our very own SheKnows party.
No sleep for the weary!
Every day from here on out will be similarly packed with amazing events and we plan to report back to you each day with the latest scoop.
Tomorrow we’re getting an exclusive look at Rachel Zoe’s showroom, sitting pretty at the Reem Acra show and hooking back up with our girl Ashley Hebert to see Alice + Olivia’s new line .
