How to pull off the perfect prom look from head to toe

Choosing the perfect look for prom can be a daunting task. You want to wear something that makes you feel confident and courageous, and after all, prom is the last time in high school to really show off who you truly are!
Whether you’re an eco-activist or a girl on a budget, I’ve come up with three complete prom looks that will have you instantly ready for the big night.

The eco-friendly fashionista

Eco-friendly doesn’t have to be dull! You’re still allowed to dream big! Dress designer and vegan-movement supporter Dalia MacPhee does her work with a purpose. For every gown purchased, she will plant a tree in your honor at the Tree of Life Grove in the Tahoe National Forest. The dresses are also made completely from environmentally-conscious materials. Seriously, ladies, if I could go to prom again, I would definitely be wearing one of these gowns!

Pair this purple stunner with vintage 1960s leaf earrings ($72) and these gold and silver chevron heels by Olsenhaus ($230). Finish the look off with Juice Beauty’s Irresistible Glow Facial Highlighter ($22), designed by eco-celeb Alicia Silverstone.

The babe on a budget

With so many things to buy for prom, the event can get expensive quickly, especially for someone on an after-school job budget. But that doesn’t mean you can’t look your best and rock a great frock! I love this ballerina dress from Target ($70) in coral. Pair it with these rockin’ spike heels and metal plate ASOS skinny belt for only $27 each! Take the look up a final notch with this bold coral Revlon lipstick ($9) that will stay put all night!

Over-the-top glam girl

Are you looking to leave a lasting impression on your fellow classmates? Show up in this luxurious look and all eyes will be on you! (Just make sure you’ve practiced some sweet dance moves…) This blue chiffon dress from Alyce prom is to die for! And at $378, it better be!

These Enzo Angiolini pumps ($160) have sequins with hints of blues and pink that will match perfectly to the bust of your gown. Slip this fancy Ana Cavalheiro white quartz cuff ($572) on and it’s all you need. And don’t forget the lashes! That’s the most important part.

Watch: Prom for All!

The cost of going to prom can really add up… tickets, limo ride, flowers, and of course, the dress. Donate your gently worn formal dresses so that everyone can have an awesome prom. Hayden Panettiere is donating hers!
