We’ve already seen the likes of major celebrities, such as Chloe Moretz, Julianne Hough and Selena Gomez, rocking the trend on the red carpet this summer. For day, try pairing a vibrant aqua handbag with a simple white sundress, or perhaps toss on some high-waisted aqua shorts, a neutral crop top and chic sandals for a fun summer soiree.

Pretty pastels

A pretty pastel shade, like light pink or mint green, really pops when contrasted against a gorgeous summer glow. If you’re feeling daring, follow the lead of fashion designers and trendsetters worldwide and don an allover sorbet ensemble, mixing shades of pale yellow with icy blue, and orange sherbet with light lavender.

Not quite so bold? Opt for stand-out accessories (perhaps a pastel pump or peachy wedge) that will punch up your summertime look without overwhelming.

Not so mellow yellow

Have some fun in the sun this season in summer’s absolute must-have hue, canary yellow. While bright and bold, this cheery hue actually complements all skin tones. So don’t be afraid — slip into a vibrant yellow cover-up, or try on a pair of luminous lemon shorts and pair them with a nautical navy-and-white striped tank.
