The TCA Awards are upon us. Later this summer, television critics will honor the best TV has to offer. It’s been a great year, and the following nominees prove it.
Monday, the Television Critics Association announced the nominees for this year’s TCA Awards. The impressive lineup includes veteran series as well as some deserving newbies. Speaking of the latter, FX’s The Americans dominated the competition with four nominations.

The drama debuted earlier this year and has made a lasting impression on critics. Co-star Matthew Rhys managed to earn a nod for Individual Achievement in Drama, where he’ll face stiff competition. The other contenders are Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Monica Potter (Parenthood).
