When a star is in trouble, he or she heads right to Oprah Winfrey’s couch. That is exactly what Lindsay Lohan is doing when she gets out of rehab.
Even though her syndicated show went off the air in 2011, Oprah Winfrey continues to be the go-to interviewer for celebrities when the going gets tough. The talk show host landed an exclusive interview with Lindsay Lohan post-rehab.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the deal is even sweeter than just a one-time sit-down chat with Winfrey. The OWN network will also air an eight-episode docu-series on the troubled starlet. It will follow her journey after she emerges from rehab and as she works to change her image.

An OWN spokesperson told EW, “OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014.”
This breaking news seems to signal that even Lohan is ready for a change. There have been stories from Lohan sources that she is taking her court-ordered sentence very seriously. The 27-year-old just celebrated her birthday, so this may be a sign of a new beginning.

Her 90-day stint in rehab is expected to end on July 31. She is currently located at Cliffside Malibu after doing her first 30 days at the Betty Ford Clinic. She reportedly wanted to focus on more individual therapy tailored to her specific needs.
Winfrey’s latest big scoop is just one in a series of major stars who have turned to the entertainment mogul during darker times. The Oprah’s Next Chapter show has featured Lance Armstrong talking about his doping scandal, Whitney Houston’s family talking about her tragic death and Rihanna revealing her ongoing love for the man who beat her, Chris Brown.
Besides the new cable network interview and reality show deal, Lohan is expected to attend the Venice Film Festival at the end of August for the premiere of her long-awaited film The Canyons.
