Kelly Osbourne has been keeping a secret from her fans. The secret in question is about her boyfriend of two years Matthew Mosshart and a romantic trip to the Caribbean.
Love is in the air for Kelly Osbourne, who has confirmed that she and long-term boyfriend Matthew Mosshart are engaged.
The daughter of legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne said yes to her longtime love during a recent vacation in the Caribbean. Osbourne revealed that her vegan pastry chef got down on one knee and asked her to be his bride.
The couple met at supermodel Kate Moss‘ 2011 wedding to rocker Jamie Hince, whose band mate in the rock group The Kills is Alison Mosshart — the sister of Kelly’s future husband.
The lovebirds have been dodging engagement rumors since Christmas and Osbourne denied previous reports when she tweeted, “DontBelieveEverythingYouRead” (sic).
However, the blossoming relationship seemed destined for marriage from the beginning as the lilac-haired beauty had revealed early on that there was something different and special about her beau from the start.
Back in May, Osbourne confessed to Cosmopolitan that, “He just wants to love me, and I just want to be loved by him.”
The pop star turned Fashion Police correspondent continued to gush about her love to U.K.’s Fabulous magazine earlier this year, saying, “He’s amazing… I don’t think I’ve ever really known what love is like before,” she said. “I couldn’t believe that he truly liked me because I never think people ever could, but I’m so happy.”
More recently, in a photo shoot with Hello! magazine, Osbourne revealed, “I’ve never felt this close to another human being, ever. People say we’re co-dependent but we just want to be together all the time.”
She explained the significance and sentimental value of her engagement ring, that was designed to look like one of her father’s jewelry pieces: “I designed it to look like an earring that my father wore. I used to hold my finger up to his ear when I was little and say, ‘I want a ring like that’. Now I have one.”
