Tyra Banks makes a big move by investing in fashion website The Hunt.
Tyra Banks has added her name to the list of investors for The Hunt, a website that helps people find the fashion they covet by using the power of social media. Yahoo News reports that the investment is being done through Fierce Capital, LLC, the recently formed investment division of The Tyra Banks Company, where she is chairman and CEO.

This will be the first fashion investment for Tyra through Fierce Capital, LLC, and she views The Hunt as more than just an investment. It’s also an opportunity to help ladies find inspiring style.
“I created Fierce Capital, LLC because supporting female-owned, led and targeted businesses is extremely important to me. We are excited about The Hunt, our first fashion investment, because it truly sucks to discover a great style item but not be able to find and buy it. The Hunt solves that fashion dilemma in a fun and innovative way,” Tyra told Women’s Wear Daily.

“The Hunt brings a fun and innovative approach to shopping and fashion,” Tyra said. “What I love most about The Hunt is that women help other women find their perfect outfit H2T [head to toe]. I am excited to be part of this new approach to collective retail and styling.”
Other investors in the site include Ashton Kutcher, former chief marketing officer of Coca-Cola Company’s brands and founder of Idea Merchants Capital Rohan Oza, and RedOne, the Grammy-winning producer behind hit singers such as Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.

Members of The Hunt can post pictures of shoes, clothes, jewelry and other accessories that they want to buy and ask for help from other members on where to find the items.
