It’s usually the younger celebrities that get themselves in trouble with nude selfies. On Sunday, it was 70-year-old Geraldo Rivera who posted a nude photo.
Geraldo Rivera is never one to shy away from controversy or speaking his mind. This time though, the newsman let his Twitter selfie do the talking.
On Sunday morning, the Fox News contributor posted a nude photo of himself along with this message to over 45,000 followers, “70 is the new 50 (Erica and family are going to be so pissed… but at my age… )”

The message has since been deleted, but there was plenty of time for the photo to become a viral sensation. While Rivera is very fit for a man of his age, was it appropriate for him to post the photo in the first place?
The journalist didn’t make it clear if it was his wife of 10 years, Erica, who made him pull the picture off the internet or if he just had second thoughts. He replaced the photo with a “lesson learned” tweet.
In the past, Rivera has found himself in hot water for comments he made about the Trayvon Martin case in March 2012.
At the time, he said on Fox & Friends, “[I] am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters particularly to not let their children go out wearing hoodies. I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was.”
He eventually apologized, sort of, in a statement to Politico.com.
The next time Rivera decides to tweet out a nude selfie, he might want to take a few lessons from the masters of the art form. Justin Bieber, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj could teach Rivera a thing or two about posing nude and sharing it with the public.
