Benedict Cumberbatch is TIFF’s triple threat

The Toronto International Film Festival has a head start on its competition. Today, they unveiled their roster, which includes talented actors like Sandra Bullock, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Tuesday morning, the Toronto International Film Festival announced part of their highly anticipated lineup. The Galas, Special Presentations and World Premieres are filled with heavy hitters. One person who seems to be all over the list is British actor Benedict Cumberbatch.

Cumberbatch stars in not one, but three films screening at the festival. He headlines the biopic The Fifth Estate, which centers on the real-life WikiLeaks scandal, and co-stars in the ensembles 12 Years a Slave and August: Osage County.

Other big-name films making an appearance include Sandra Bullock and George Clooney‘s Gravity as well as the Idris Elba drama Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. The lineup boasts filmmakers from all over the world who cover a variety of topics. Check out the eclectic mix below (via Collider).
