Lindsay Lohan successfully completed her 90-day stint in rehab, but she’s not off the hook. The actress must now attend intense therapy sessions.
She may be out of rehab, but her work is definitely not done. That is the word for Lindsay Lohan who was released from Cliffside Malibu today outside of Los Angeles. The court-ordered stint is completed, but the second half of her recovery begins.
Lohan must now attend therapy sessions three times a week for 50 minutes over the next 16 months. This recommendation was made by the rehab facility and the order was carried out by the judge who sent her into treatment.

The decision was handed down on Wednesday only hours after the 27-year-old was photographed exiting the center.
In addition to certifying that The Canyons star had completed her legal obligations, Cliffside Malibu wrote to the judge saying it was “critical” that Lohan continues therapy.
The letter stated, “Our entire clinical team is in unanimous agreement that if these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set-up for almost certain failure.”
While the news sounds dire, the center seemed upbeat about the actress’ attitude.
They wrote, “We couldn’t be happier with the progress Ms. Lohan has made.”
Oprah does it again: Lindsay Lohan post-rehab interview >>
There have been many reports that Lohan was finally taking this round of rehab seriously and she’s paving the way for a career comeback with an interview with Oprah Winfrey and a possible role in a Ben Affleck-directed project.
Given the fact that any actress’s filming schedule can be irratic, Cliffside Malibu’s founder and CEO Richard Taite has given some thought on how she can complete her therapy sessions. He believes that the appointments “should be done face-to-face while she is in town, and via Skype or phone session if she is out of town.”
It sounds like a recipe for success. Let’s hope Lilo is onboard.
