Lady Gaga’s stylist and friend has quit!

Styling Lady Gaga must be a great opportunity to create outrageous and eccentric looks. However, it seems even stylists have their limits, and Gaga’s has decided to quit!

Lady Gaga and Nicola Formichetti have had a long standing collaboration, with Formichetti having previously stated on more than one occasion that Gaga was his muse.

However, it appears that the pop icon will no longer be receiving the somewhat outrageous style advice from the fashionista.

Remember Lady Gaga’s notorious meat dress that she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards? Well, Formichetti played a part in that!

In a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Formichetti revealed, “She changes 12 times a day; it’s insane.”

However, just because he will no longer be styling the songstress does not mean that they have fallen out!

Formichetti added, “She’s going to be my BFF forever, but my ex-assistant Brandon [Maxwell] is heading that project.”

“I’m too busy with [other commitments]. I’ve done two albums with her, it’s been like five years, and you know, I’m always going to be involved somehow, but I cannot do it every day.”

Too busy for Gaga? Well, that is because the designer has just been named the artistic director of Diesel and Uniqlo and plans to focus his responsibilities on that, for now.

Formichetti continued, “I live between Europe, America and Asia, I’ve terminated my other jobs to concentrate on Uniqlo, and… I still have time to do lots of other things.”

While Gaga may be short of a stylist, she does however, have an upcoming album, ARTPOP, which she can look forward to.

The singer recently told WWD, “The point [of ARTPOP] is that art and pop can have an exchange,” she said. “[I’m not] defined by the same designer or defined by the same hair cut or defined by the same icon. The statement is that I’m not one icon. I’m every icon.”

Any suggestions for who Gaga’s new stylist should be?
