Lindsay Lohan may have left rehab with a new attitude, but she did not leave with any new friends — especially one notable star who cut her own treatment short rather than deal with The Canyons actress any longer.
Lindsay Lohan is impressing viewers with her temp gig hosting Chelsea Lately, but she did not make any new fans at rehab — especially one music icon in particular.
Sources revealed that Lohan behaved so childishly at Cliffside Malibu, where she was undergoing court-ordered treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, that she sent R&B diva Chaka Khan packing.
Khan, who was already undergoing treatment for her own issues when Lohan arrived, could not deal with the troubled starlet’s attention-seeking ways and forced the facility to keep them separated at all times, soon choosing just to leave rather than deal with her shenanigans.
“Chaka was really cool about everything at Cliffside, but Lindsay just pushed all of her buttons to the point where she was aggravated and tired of Lindsay’s s***,” a former patient who was at the center at the same time as Khan and Lohan told RadarOnline.
“Lindsay was just doing stupid stuff for attention, so Chaka told her she was childish and told her to grow up. She never lost it, but started yelling at Lindsay. Told her to knock it off, asking her if she came to rehab to get well, or just to piss around.”
“Chaka was so annoyed with Lindsay. It got so bad that she refused to get in the same car with her or go to the same meetings with Lindsay,” the source revealed. “So Cliffside had to change everything up schedule-wise so the two were never together.”

“Chaka told me she was leaving early because she couldn’t stand Lindsay. Lindsay caused such an uproar that administration basically said to the patients, ‘If you can’t take it and you want to leave, leave.’ The next day a guy that had already left because of Lindsay came back and helped Chaka with her bags and stuff and took her from Cliffside.”
Khan confirmed that she went to rehab and commended Lohan for attending as well, but neither confirmed nor denied the feud.
“To choose to do what is necessary to better one’s self is commendable. I applaud Lindsay Lohan for doing the work. She is a lovely young lady and I pray for her well-being,” she wrote on her website.
“The battle of addiction is a serious and long process, which is why I chose to address my use of prescription medications — which came about as a result of the knee surgery I had a few years ago. When and if necessary, I will seek alternative methods and traditional treatment to stay ahead of any potential problem.”
Lohan, who is busy promoting her new flick The Canyons, also has not commented on the feud.
