Cowell and Lauren Silverman were rumored to have been involved in an affair for more than four years, and the media mogul is reportedly very excited to become a father for the first time, because his lover is pregnant with his baby!
Regardless of the good news for Cowell, before the couple can revel in their happiness, Silverman had to settle her divorce with former husband of 10 years, Andrew Silverman.
It is reported that the socialite has now come to an agreement with her ex-husband in New York on Wednesday, and will not lose custody of her 7-year-old son, Adam, as she had previously have feared.
According to TMZ, the former couple have agreed to share joint custody of their son, and she will remain in New York City to be close to him.
Lauren Silverman has also walked away from her marriage with a decent share of money in her bank, more than $2 million!
Sources close to her have confirmed that she and Simon are still “very much together.”
There had been rumors that the couple may move to Los Angeles to raise their future child together, but that is no longer the case as Silverman wishes to be close to her son.
It is not yet known whether Cowell plans to relocate to New York for his girlfriend, but we think Cowell is currently preoccupied with other thoughts — namely a lavish holiday with friends in St. Tropez, France.
