Jennifer Love Hewitt is putting baby before marriage

Jennifer Love Hewitt is ready for her new baby, but wants to make sure she doesn’t rush into a marriage until she’s ready.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is focused on her pregnancy, and was dressed up and looking gorgeous for an event Wednesday night. The actress appeared at an event for the Pampers’ Love, Sleep and Play campaign in a simple black dress showing off her growing baby bump.

Hewitt is engaged to Brian Hallisay, her co-star on The Client List, but is focusing on the baby before they even start to plan a wedding.

“I’m not putting that on myself also! We’re going to wait,” she told People. “I’m going to get down and be cute again and then we’ll be ready to go.”

The couple announced they were pregnant within days of announcing their engagement.

The mom-to-be has a pregnancy glow, and is looking forward to the new member of her family.

“[Being pregnant] is an awesome thing,” Hewitt said. “It definitely has its moments where you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh this is crazy,’ but it’s been beautiful.”

The 34-year-old has been working to keep herself in shape during this pregnancy. Hewitt said for someone with her cravings, it’s been a full-time job.

“I’ve actually worked out more pregnant than when I wasn’t. I’ve been working out about five to six days a week,” she said. “I do a lot of swimming, Pilates, yoga — all good stuff for baby and for me. It gets difficult the bigger you get because it’s more uncomfortable, but it’s important.”

Hewitt is growing but is still months away from her due date, and she and Hallisay are going to be surprised about their baby.

“I’m due in December and I don’t know what I’m having,” she said. “Meeting the baby is what I’m most excited about.”

But what is Hewitt not excited about? “Learning to breastfeed!”
