VIDEO: Christina Aguilera “Let There Be Love

We haven’t seen or heard much from Christina Aguilera since she went on hiatus from The Voice. But now Xtina is back and full of gratitude for her fans, which she expresses in her new song and video, “Let There Be Love.”

“Hey everybody. Christina here. Just thanking you guys so much for filling my life and my heart with so much love… I appreciate all your support. This one’s just for you.”

And that’s how pop diva Christina Aguilera begins her video for the song “Let There Be Love.”

And love there is. The video — while low on production values — is high on love as we follow Christina, her family and friends as they dance and have fun.

Christina’s son, Max, shows off his fabulous dance moves. The Voice mentor’s boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, and friend Nicole Richie make cameos as well.

Throughout the video, everyone holds up their fingers in the shape of an L. At first, I thought it meant “loser,” but then I saw that love is probably the L-word Xtina meant.

Christina seems to be feeling extra grateful lately, as this video comes on the heels of a 2,200-word letter of thanks to her fans.

“Thank you for listening to my words. Opening your hearts. Giving back love. Seeing beneath the surface. Searching for the truth. Digging deep. Within yourselves & within your minds. Feeling and sharing with me your own stories, your own life struggles. You’re my inspiration and a constant reminder why I continue to give my very best and open up my heart and mind so vulnerably to you and with the best of intentions.”
