There are few things we love more than outtakes. They make actors seem more human, and who doesn’t like to laugh? With stars like Jason Bateman and Lena Dunham in the mix, it’s really no surprise these bloopers still have us cracking up.

If I had a time machine, I’d hop in and head back to 2007 so I could sit in on the making of this movie. It may not have been a huge commercial success, but you know — especially after seeing this gag reel — that the set must have been epic fun. I mean, c’mon… Jason Bateman, Amanda Peet, Zach Braff, Amy Poehler and Fred Armisen? That’s a seriously funny ensemble.
Lena Dunham
Gah! Could Lena Dunham be any funnier? We’re torn between totally loving her and kind of wanting to hate her since she’s young, smart, super accomplished and — oh, yeah — funnier than hell. In this scene, she accidentally dials 9-1-1 in real life, and her reaction is priceless. Can we be one of her “girls,” please?

The Modern Family cast
Modern Family killed it this year when it comes to Emmy nominations, earning a nod for Outstanding Comedy Series and getting nominations for Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ed O’Neill, Ty Burrell and guest star Nathan Lane. We’re suckers for gag reels, and this one has all of our favorite funny Modern Family faces and then some.

OMG. We all know Justin Timberlake is funny on screen — he is, after all, nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his stint on SNL — but this gag reel from his 2011 movie Friends With Benefits made us realize just how brilliant Timberlake’s comic timing is in real life, too. The sex scene between him and co-star Mila Kunis, in which he is underneath the sheets, slays us.

Yep… more Amy Poehler. We can’t help it. Not only is she one of the coolest celebs out there, but she is up for an Emmy this year for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series thanks to her completely brilliant work in Parks and Recreation. Melissa McCarthy
How anyone could ever say a disparaging word about Melissa McCarthy is beyond us — she is one of the funniest and, from what we hear, nicest women in Hollywood. This end-of-movie outtake from This Is 40 had tears streaming down our faces. McCarthy delivers line after line of improvised hilarity, during which co-stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann cannot keep straight faces to save their lives.
