Betsy Brandt reveals how emotional she is that the hit series Breaking Bad is coming to an end, but the actress also has exciting career prospects in her future.
Betsy Brandt looked amazing as she walked down the Emmys red carpet on Sunday night. In fact, the Emmys appeared to be place that had many well-dressed actresses.
She was wearing Alice and Olivia, a label that she really likes. Brandt told SheKnows, “I love their stuff, it’s classy but a little bit different, it has a little bit of edge to it.”
When SheKnows asked Brandt what it would feel like for Breaking Bad to win an Emmy, the actress temporarily froze while imagining the moment of victory.
“It felt so good when you just said that,” Brandt said. “I just want it for my family just once, my TV family. I just want it, its just so wild and talented and sweet and such a phenomenal cast and crew.”
“I’d love to see it make it to the top.”
Well, luckily for Brandt, Breaking Bad made it to the top, taking home its first ever Best Drama Series trophy!
The actress was reluctant to reveal any spoilers about her character and the ending in the Breaking Bad series, only revealing, “I will say it has the perfect ending, when I read that final script, I was like oh, my god, that’s just so good.”
So what is next for the actress? Brandt has a new show to look forward to, as she will be starring as Annie Henry in Michael J. Fox‘s NBC show, The Michael J. Fox Show.
The show will be airing Thursday, Sept. 26, so while there are exciting times ahead for the actress and she will get a new TV family, it is also a very sad time in her career. This Sunday, Sept. 29, is the final ever episode of the hit TV series Breaking Bad will be airing.
We look forward to seeing Brandt’s talents in The Michael J. Fox Show.
