Miley Cyrus had a lot to say in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Not only does she talk about herself, but she gives Justin Bieber some advice.
Another day, another Miley Cyrus headline. She’s still making waves for her Rolling Stone cover story where she talks quite a bit about her MTV VMAs performance and her reinvented music career. The 20-year-old also gives some advice to fellow musician Justin Bieber.
Cyrus admitted in the interview that she considers herself to be a mentor to the 19-year-old pop star.
She shared, “I’m not that much older than him, so I never want it to feel like I’m mentoring him. But I do mentor him in a way. Because I’ve been doing this s**t for a long time, and I already transitioned and I don’t think he’s quite done it yet.”

While there is only a year between the two singers, the former Disney star revealed what type of advice she’s been giving the Biebs.
“He’s trying really hard,” Cyrus said. “People don’t take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play the guitar, he really can sing. I just don’t want to see him f**k that up, to where people think he’s Vanilla Ice. I tell him that.”
The former Hannah Montana actress blames Bieber’s immaturity and his gender as a part of his problem.
She laughed’ “I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he’s really, like, 12.”

The irony of the situation is that many TV viewers found her MTV VMAs performance a sign of her own personal immaturity.
Cyrus seems to be feeling the heat from the Rolling Stone article though. On Tuesday, she tweeted a half-hearted apology to the “Boyfriend” singer.
She wrote, “Always have ALWAYS will root for @justinbieber he always has and ALWAYS will be the s**t.”
It seems like the Biebs was okay with her public offering since he retweeted it to his close-to-45 million followers. Perhaps he is okay with her mentorship, too.
