The trailer for Glee‘s tribute episode to Cory Monteith is only 33 seconds long, but it packs a serious emotional punch.
The clip — released to promote the Oct. 10 episode — shows Mr. Schu, Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) mourning Finn Hudson’s death while Lea Michele sings Bob Dylan’s “To Make You Feel My Love.”

Former cast members Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Harry Shum Jr. and Mike O’Malley will make appearances on the tribute episode. Creator Ryan Murphy hasn’t revealed the cause of Finn’s death, only noting that it won’t mirror Monteith’s real-life cause of death.
The emotion, though, is very real.
“What we’ll see in the episode is what really happened… those performances that you’ll see, almost everything in that episode is from the first take of every performance,” Murphy told reporters at an event on Thursday, according to Yahoo! TV. “The actors and the crew had a really hard time shooting it. I’ve never seen a crew that you can’t continue shooting because they’ve left the room sobbing. It was very hard.”

The short clip shows Michele crying on the shoulder of Matthew Morrison’s Mr. Schu. She was in character as Rachel Berry, but those tears were undoubtedly for her real-life love.
“It was rough. It was very rough. It was very rough with Lea [Michele] … but I’m very proud of it,” Murphy added. “I think the performances are quite stunning. People still are not over it — it’s still very, very difficult.”
It’s a must-see episode, but there won’t be a dry eye in the house.
