Chris Brown says he lost his virginity at 8 years old

Chris Brown isn’t exactly a fan favorite, and his latest comments don’t help his cause. But it’s possible his upbringing may have a lot to do with who he is today.

Chris Brown has given us some insight into one possible reason he is the way he is. He reportedly told the U.K. Guardian that he lost his virginity at the age of 8 to a local girl who was 14 or 15. The singer grew up in rural Virginia and said that’s just the way things happened out there.

“It’s different in the country,” he said, adding that growing up around so many male cousins who watched a lot of porn changed things for him. “By that point, we were already kind of like hot to trot, you know what I’m saying?”

The singer won’t say how many women he has been with, but did say that his early start has made him good at it.

“Like, girls, we weren’t afraid to talk to them; I wasn’t afraid. So, at 8, being able to do it, it kind of preps you for the long run, so you can be a beast at it. You can be the best at it.”

Brown, who also recently compared himself to Trayvon Martin, doesn’t seem to think his early start may have turned him into a person whom people don’t like. Instead, he seems to be proud of his conquests.

“But you know how Prince had a lot of girls back in the day? Prince was, like, the guy. I’m just that, today,” Brown said. “But most women won’t have any complaints if they’ve been with me. They can’t really complain. It’s all good.”

While it’s pretty questionable whether Prince would agree with Brown’s assessment of their similarities, Brown just keeps talking about what he thinks of himself.

“You can take my life story or scenarios or songs and relate to them, and apply them to your everyday life. You know, whether it be personal or musical, I just think I’m a walking art piece, just a ball of creativity,” he said, adding that if not for the “the incident with Rihanna,” he would be “bigger than life.”

In other news, Chris Brown still can’t figure out why people don’t like him.
