Kate Hudson has been engaged for years now and there still seems no hurry to walk down the aisle. However, someone who is in a hurry for Hudson to marry Matt Bellamy is her 9-year-old son, Ryder.
Wedding bells may be ringing for Kate Hudson in the very near future, because her 9-year-old son Ryder has decided it is time he has a new daddy.
The Bride Wars actress has been engaged to her beau, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy since 2011, and while being engaged usually means preparing for your wedding, the pair have yet to plan or confirm a date.
Hudson recently made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, on Tuesday Oct. 8., and confessed to funny woman Ellen DeGeneres, that she was feeling pressure to get married to her love.
Pressure from whom? Well, the pressure is coming from none other than her son, Ryder, who she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
Hudson said, “I think he looks forward to more the party than the actually the idea of us getting married. He apparently he wants to wear a neon green tux.”
Yes, you read that correctly, a neon green tuxedo… and you are not the only person who is shocked by the little boy’s fashion choices, as Ellen DeGeneres could only reply with a single word, “Great.”
The actress is very proud of her sons — Ryder and 2-year-old Bingham — she shared how Ryder has his heart set on wearing green to her wedding.
Hudson gushed, “He seems to have it really planned out, what he’s wearing…”
“He loves neon green. He wants to wear neon green with black. That’s pretty cool. He’s a bit of a fashion boy.”
While the Something Borrowed actress may not be planning to walk down the aisle any time soon, we do hope to see photos of little Ryder looking dashing in his neon green tuxedo.
