It’s official: Kris and Bruce Jenner have split. After 22 years of marriage, the pair announced their separation through E! News just minutes ago.
“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” said Kris and Bruce. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

Kris and Bruce have two daughters together, Kendall and Kylie. Kendall Jenner is 17-years-old with a successful modeling career. Kylie Jenner just turned 16-years-old this past August and is rumored to be dating Jaden Smith, the son of Hollywood movie star Will Smith. Last year, Kendall and Jaden were romantically linked but both Jenner and Smith denied they were a couple.
Bruce Jenner has a total of six kids, four of whom are from his first two marriages. Bruce and his second wife, actress Linda Thompson, have two sons, Brandon and Brody.

It’s not clear why Kris and Bruce have split, but some say the split could be due to tension over Kris’ fame-seeking ways. InTouch magazine claims the couple has been “having problems for months” and that Kris even refused to wear her wedding ring while filming for her now-canceled talk show. For months, Kris Jenner denied any marital tension; telling E! News the rumors that she and Bruce had split were totally inaccurate.
“We just laugh it off,” said Kris back in November 2012. “We love each other and just laugh about it… These kind of stories have been circulating for years.”
