Yes, Diana was beloved by the world. She was the people’s princess and no doubt influenced her eldest son William’s choice in his own beautiful wife, Kate. 1) Child of divorce
Though Diana was born into the Spencer family, one of the oldest and most respected families in England, her parents divorced when she was just 8 years old. The death of her infant brother, John, no doubt put a strain on the marriage, but it was also her mother Frances’ affair that led to the break up of the family.

Diana first attended public school before attending an all-girls boarding school. She had trouble academically, though took an interest in music and dancing. 5) Had an extramarital affair
In the book Diana: Her True Story by Andrew Morton, it was revealed that the Princess of Wales had an affair with Major James Hewitt, a former cavalry officer in the British Army. Though many speculated that Hewitt was the true father of Harry due to his characteristic red hair, it has been confirmed that the affair did not begin until after the ginger prince was born.
